In-Laws

For many in the world...hearing "in-laws" brings up a bad taste in the mouth or at the very least a sudden shudder. Happily for me, that is not the case. And, in fact, I would be happier if the word "in-laws" didn't even exist! How grateful I am for the wonderful daughters our sons have brought to our family. And as an extension.....those daughters' families.

Ron & Nancy, Russ & Cheryl, Steve & Lisa, Leo & Gudelia.....thank you so much for raising your daughters and loving our sons.....and our grandchildren! We couldn't ask for better people to be an extension of our family! Nancy comes out each summer for several months to be with Holly while Bobby is away. We love having her in our home and the friendship she brings...especially to Grandma Nash. We have enjoyed having her join us on some of our get-aways. Russ & Cheryl have always been so good to Paul. We know there is great love between them from the way he talks about them. Steve & Lisa have been wonderful! We always enjoy seeing them and I love getting to share Colton-tending-time with Lisa. And Leo & Gudelia have expressed such love for John. We have enjoyed them being in our home so much this past week.

Getting to know each of the families our sons have joined has brought new meaning to the idea of eternal families. As each new grandchild arrives our families are linked closer and closer. How grateful I am that we have a loving Heavenly Father who created families for us to love. The incredible love I feel for each of our grandchildren is compounded by all their other grandparents. That is one thing these beautiful children will never question....the love of their families.

You are all so loved! Thank you for being the wonderful parents that you are! I am so proud of each of you. And.....I ADORE those darling little ones you have brought into the family!
